Fiber Laser Components

SIFAM offer a wide range of high power fused fibre combiners designed to combine the output of up to 19 multi-watt semiconductor laser diodes into a single fibre output.

Deployed components are being employed to achieve combined optical output powers of over 100 Watts in systems that are used either to pump the latest generation of high power fibre lasers or for direct combination of diodes. High Power Combiners are commonly supplied in a 7x1 or a 19x1 geometric configuration. N+1x1 products from SIFAM include state-of-the-art 6+1x1 and 18+1x1 high power combiners with single mode (SM) or polarisation maintaining (PM) fibre feed through. SIFAM also manufacture combiners featuring large mode area (LMA) feed-through.

All multimode fibre combiners from SIFAM can be supplied with up to 19 input fibres and with larger diameter 220um input and 400um output fibres. Long-term high power operation has been verified with over 50,000 device test hours.
