SIFAM's Custom Modules are assemblies of passive and/or active optical components designed to provide added functionality. They enable you to stay focused on your core competence, whilst reducing time to market and development costs.

An in-depth understanding of optical component performance, combined with the use of low loss SIFAM components, ensures the highest possible specifications. Advanced assembly techniques such as ribbon splicing and fibre recoating are used to provide robustness, reduced form-factor and to minimize manufacturing costs.

A wide range of enclosures are available, to suit specific applications. These range from standard injection-moulded fibre organisers, anodized aluminium housings and 19” rack systems to custom housings. Designs can be implemented on either a build to specification or build to print basis. Additional expertise in motion control, PCB design, CAD, supply-chain management, bulk optics, computer control, sources and detectors enable SIFAM to provide an enhanced service providing a total solution for OEM customers.
